La Sega ha annunciato durante una livestream che sta sviluppando un videogioco, Ryu ga Gotoku Online. Il gioco presenterà il nuovo protagonista Ichiban Kasuga. Il gioco sarà lanciato per i sistemi iOS e Android e per PC nel 2018.
La Sega ha anche annunciato che sta sviluppando il videogioco Ryū ga Gotoku Kiwami 2 (Yakuza Kiwami 2) e rilascerà il gioco per Playstation 4 il 7 Dicembre. Il gioco sarà un remake dell’originale Ryu ga Gotoku 2 (Yakuza 2), che uscì in Giappone per la Playstation 2 nel 2006. La Sega rilascerà anche Yakuza 6: The Song of Life in Occidente su PS4 agli inizi del 2018.
